Willy Wonka decided to invent a new thing to reverse the effect of the Wonka-Vite, which meant that he had to make people old.
So, he started to brainstorm for some ideas, and then he wanted to know what was the oldest living thing on the planet. Charlie, his assistant, suggested a tree. It was indeed true, but which kind of tree was the next question which popped up. Wonka listed that it could not be the fir, oak, or cedar. It had to be a tree called Bristlecone pine that grew in Nevada, USA. He told Charlie that he could find Bristlecone pines over 4000 years growing on the slopes of Wheeler Peak.

Wonka got into his Great Glass Elevator and rushed all over the world to collect the special items from the oldest living things. His collection included:
- A pint of sap from a 4000-year-old bristlecone pine.
- Toe-nail clippings from a 168-year-old Russian farmer called Petrovitch Gregorovitvh.
- An egg laid by a 200-year-old tortoise belonging to the king of Tonga.
- The tail of a 51-year-old horse in Arabia.
- The tail of a 207-year-old giant rat from Tibet.

At last, he boiled all the ingredients and tasted the product in his inventing room. He developed one small cup full of black liquid. He gave four drops of it to a brave, young 20-year-old volunteer, Oompa-Loompa to see what happens.
The effect of the solution was rapid and incredible. He told Charlie that The moment Oompa Loompa drank those drops, he began wrinkling and shriveling. His hair dropped off and his teeth also started falling out. In a flash, the twenty-year-old boy became an old man of seventy-five. And hence, the Vita-Wonk was successfully invented.
