Wind, come softly.
Don’t break the shutters of the windows.

There, look what you did — you threw them all down.

Explanation:
Here the poet is talking to the wind. He asks the wind to proceed gently. So, he is asking the wind to not be very powerful and turbulent. It should be smooth and gentle. He tells us that the wind is very strong and it is devastating, it breaks the covers of glasses and scatters the papers. When the wind is very strong, all the books which are kept on the shelf drop down.
The poet is showing us the power of the wind. Then he says to the wind to look at the destruction that it has done. Whenever there is a great wind all the goods that are light, like small plants, tiny children, etc., they all get frightened and they can even slump and get hurt. Here the poet is talking about the wind like it is a small child. He is saying that it should come softly just like a small child does. In the later part, he shows us that the wind is like a teen who rebels.

Frail crumbling houses, crumbling doors, crumbling rafters,
crumbling wood, crumbling bodies, crumbling lives,
crumbling hearts —
the wind god winnows and crushes them all.
He won’t do what you tell him.
So, come, let’s build strong homes,
Let’s joint the doors firmly.
Practise to firm the body.
Make the heart steadfast.
Do this, and the wind will be friends with us.
