Tenses for class 11 of the verb are tools for expressing time. They describe the condition and time of action and refer to the timing of an action. The verb tenses of present, past, and future pertain to the time of action and describe its timing and state.

The definition of tense is the verbal form that expresses the relationship between time and action. Work takes place over time, and action is the result of that time. Tense specifies the moment at which an action occurs.

There are three time phases.
